Registration Approval: Your registration is subject to approval by Notabene, in its sole discretion. Notabene may reject your registration if you misrepresent yourself in your registration, if the event is fully subscribed, or for any other reason (or for no stated reason). If you are not approved for the event by email or otherwise in writing, you may not attend the event, and Notabene is not responsible for any expenses you may incur as a result of this non-approval.

Notabene reserves the right to alter the date of this event for reasons beyond its control. Notabene will not be liable for any expenses you may incur in reliance on an expectation of attending the event on the original date.

Personal Information: You acknowledge that the only personal information you will share with Notabene and its authorized representatives is your business contact information. With regard to such business contacts, Notabene will act as an independent controller based on its legitimate interest in governing your participation in the event and for establishing a business relationship with you. Notabene will collect only professional data, including but not limited to your name, business email, business phone number, and job position.

In addition, we may ask you – separately from these terms and conditions – whether or not you freely consent to our collection of images of you (photos and/or videos) during this event, for the purpose of publishing press releases, public announcements, and case studies and otherwise communicating with the public regarding the event. Whether or not you choose to provide this consent is at your sole discretion, and your choice has no impact on your ability to attend the event and to participate fully in it. We will use clear physical demarcations to ensure that no images will be taken of you if you did not consent to have them taken.

You have no legal, proprietary, or beneficial right in or to any trademarks or other intellectual property rights owned or licensed by Notabene, its affiliates, its authorized representatives, or any speaker or organization represented at the event.

Assumption of Risk & Legal Release: Your participation in the event is voluntary and carries certain risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken. These risks include, but are not limited to, personal injury. By registering for and attending the event, you knowingly assume all such inherent risks, acknowledge that your attendance is at your sole risk, and agree to release and hold harmless Notabene, its affiliates, and its and their employees, vendors, agents, representatives, and contractors (collectively, “Representatives”), from all alleged or actual liability, claims, actions, lawsuits, damages, or losses of any kind (including attorneys’ fees), which arise out of or result from your attendance at and participation in the event.

No Warranty: Notabene gives no warranties in connection with or arising from the event or any materials, content, or presentations related to or offered at the event. To the fullest extent possible under applicable law, Notabene also disclaims all implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, timeliness, and merchantability. Notabene, its affiliates, and the Representatives will not accept any responsibility or liability for reliance by you on any aspect of the event or any information provided at the event. Except to the extent required by law, Notabene, its affiliates, and the Representatives will not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential costs, damages, or losses arising from the event or anything related to or in connection with this event. The maximum aggregate liability of Notabene, its affiliates, and the Representatives, collectively, for any claim in any way connected with the event or these terms and conditions, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, including any negligent act or omission, will be limited to the amount paid by you to Notabene to register for the event.
