Pelle Braendgaard

An early member of the Financial Crypto community, Pelle Braendgaard is the CEO and Co-Founder of Notabene, an end-to-end solution that turns regulatory compliance into a competitive advantage. With more than 25 years experience working with internet, blockchain, identity, and security technologies in Europe, Africa, Caribbean, the US and Latin America, he was most recently an Co-founder and Engineering Lead at uPort, a storied ConsenSys identity startup credited with creating foundational standards for privacy and identity using blockchain technology. 
Pelle has worked with a diverse group of services from being Alta Vista’s first webmaster to investment banking in Deutsche Bank, consumer banking in BRFKredit to developing secure communication platforms for doctors at Doximity. As an entrepreneur, he has worked in early crypto currency startups CorpFlow in the Caribbean, Verax Pay in Latin America, and helped bring Bitcoin to consumers and merchants in Africa with Kipochi.
